Introduction: Postmodernism, is the world like this?

First decade of XXI century, the third millennium ofthe Christian era ...
We live in times of postmodernity,''bigtime''scientific, technological, times where everything is ephemeral, where everything has to be now, now, immediately, where you should live each day as if it were your last.
The humanity of these contemporary times, so fast-paced lives, overwhelmed by the daily conflicts, come, we come, we only have time for us as long to circle around us, no more, it seems that the days get shorter, that life goes passing by and what have we done? What have we left our posterity? What have we done for our neighbor?
We live in times where hedonism, selfishness and individualism prevail more than ever, where the quest to satisfy our ego and only what interests us, made us forget that we live in a society where there is more need than ever, because many believe that filling their lives of property, material things, they are only temporary, only time will serveto replace the huge void that lets us live well, hurry, seeking only the pleasure of the moment.
Today everything is relative, anything goes, it seems that all is well, we live as one would in a great confusion.
Does the man has grown in this time? Does the man to evolve? or simply be that humanity is losing its axis, its foundation ... The man always repeats the same history as living in a big vicious circle?
But in this modern world, nothing is lost, because as they always say, Faith, Hope and Love are the last things that are lost, and we shouldn't lose it, because surely the day that would happen to humanity will be lost too.
With this hope, there lives, struggling to get out of that eternal vice offered by these days, lives struggling to swim against the tide, do not sell their principles, values, lives, people who defend it because, although all are put them against men and women on condition of anonymity, are seeking that road to enlighten, to make them be different to the pile, things that look beyond their own needs, which have the ability to see the lack of others brave warriors who fight the good fight not for pride but to achieve that for which many may struggle and fail.
People from different parts of the world, are the protagonists and heroes of the battle against the tyranny of selfishness.
